Gaselys

Bank status

Gaselys has been granted an Investment Services Provider status by the CECEI, a body overseen by the Banque de France.

A solid partner in a regulated business

Gaselys operates in an environment characterised by two key trends, i.e. deregulation of European energy markets and changes to the regulation of financial services (notably under the MiFID and CAD directives)*.

- Gaselys’s bank status enables it to offer third parties financial products to hedge price fluctuations, while guaranteeing them a level of service and protection in line with the state of the art banking standards.
The Company’s business activities are regulated by the French banking authorities (Commission bancaire and AMF), with a special emphasis on risk control, capital adequacy and best practices (customer service, compliance, anti-money laundering systems, etc.).

- Gaselys has an independent market risk control system, which is overseen by the Risk Divisions of its two parent companies

- The quality of its shareholders, which is reflected in the ratings awarded by the major rating agencies, represents an additional attraction for Gaselys’s customers and counterparties.
