Thierry Daubignard graduated in engineering (major in materials sciences) at Ecole Nationale Supérieure des Mines de Saint-Etienne (1989) and at Ecole Nationale Supérieure du Pétrole et des Moteurs (major in petroleum economics 1989-1990). His education was enhanced by first hand experience with Institut Français du Pétrole (Rueil-Malmaison) as an Oil Economist Engineer.

He has been with Société Générale from 1991 to 2001, with a position of Managing Director of the Energy Derivatives Marketing Team since 1995 (15 people in Paris, New-York and Singapore).

He took part in the creation of Gaselys and was appointed Managing Director of the company as of May 2001. He has been Chief Executive Officer of Gaselys since January 2006.

Philippe Vedrenne graduated in Engineering at Ecole des Mines de Paris. He joined Gaz de France in 1997 as Key Account Manager.

In 1999, he took part in the Gaz de France- Société Générale partnership by implementing hedging products within the Gaz de France sales contracts.

Philippe Vedrenne was appointed Head of Sales with Gaselys when the company was set up in June 2001. He became Managing Director of Gaselys in March 2005.
