Energy risk management

Hedging your price risks

The deregulation of the European gas and electricity markets has led to a rethink of the ways in which these types of energy are bought and sold:
- increase in short-term trades (on a day-ahead or even intra-day basis),
- spot and forward pricing has emerged on the various exchanges and hubs.

Prices vary from one day to the next for various reasons, including the weather, production capacity/maintenance, congestion, arbitrage, regulation, and the geopolitical environment.

Gaselys offers all types of energy player facing these uncertainties, from producers to large consumers, hedging solutions that allow them to dynamically manage price risks.
