The Finance department is responsible for accounting, taxation, control and cash management.
Its duties include:
• Keeping accounts, defining and documenting accounting rules, preparation and analysis of financial statements and notes, financial reporting to the parent companies and the French Banking Commission, complying with tax obligations and determining the tax impact of operating activities.
• Verifying the operating profit and reporting it to the parent companies, reconciling front office and accounting operating profits through the "gateway", preparing the budget and monitoring Gaselys' fixed costs.
• Daily management of cash flow and short-term investments in accordance with Senior Management's investment policy, monitoring Gaselys' liquidity risk, reporting to the Banque de France and prudential reporting to the parent companies and the French Banking Commission.
The Finance department is responsible for improving the information system in collaboration with IT staff and supports Gaselys' development by implementing the tools required for new products and markets.
Desired profiles and skills
• 2-year to Masters degree, accounting degrees
• A good knowledge of bank industry accounting or experience in an auditing firm or in a trading room support function (back office, middle office or Risk)
• Good analytical skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work with others
